Start Wrong

Expecting a good day is like expecting it not to rain, you just don’t know if it’s going to happen.

Why not start the day expecting it to be a bad day and having a positive attitude about how you’re going to get through it? Most of the time, you’ll be better off. This “bottoms up” approach will almost always keep you cheerful with a glass half full during even the toughest of times.

Life has more “bad” days for you where unexpected things happen and derail you from your plans than it does perfect days that go according to plan. It’s important to recognize the dynamic nature of life and find a way to adapt. One way to adapt to things we cannot control is by expecting them to be bad and develop a perseverant good temperament about things going wrong. That way, you’re good no matter what the day might bring.

Try starting the day off expecting it to be bad and embrace how you are going to deal with it. You might be pleasantly surprised with how your day goes.
